no icons on my desktop after login

Hi,
sometimes occours that when I login on my dual-boot laptop there are no
icons on desktop.
I looked in /var/adm to search something about this, but I saw nothing.
Some hints for me?

That happened to me 2 days ago, I fixed by using the gnome tweak tool. In the "Desktop" section you'll find the "icons on desktop" option, check if it's enabled.

but the option is ok (icons enabled)....
