How to set compose key.

The normal gnome 3 method doesn't seem to work or I can't seem to follow the directions I find on the internet because the related configuration tools don't correspond.

To be more specific, there is not "compose key" setting in the System Settings >> Keyboard >> Layout Settings window.

Dig deeper. Go there and then the layouts tab > options.
