Hello,
I have run vrms 1.16 and has located the package emacs24-common-non-dfsg as not free. If we read copyright /usr/share/doc/emacs24-common-non-dfsg/copyright if there appears to licensing issues.

GFDL is license for free documentation. DFSG is Debian Free Software Guidelines. emacs24-* are free ;). Non-DFSG does not means non-free.
VRMS doesn't included in Trisquel packages. To install it correctly, we need to change some lines of code.
