Abrowser update breaks YouTube

Trisquel has recently updated its Abrowser version to 144.0.2. In my 64-bit computer, I use the version 144.0.2 (64-bit).
Well, what has happened is that every now and then the YouTube page shows up with everything (search and login at the top, suggestions at the right, video info at the bottom) except for the video itself. The space at the centre of the page is blank. The quick fix for this is to close the Abrowser video, wait for few seconds until the process closes itself, then open Abrowser again and click on History -> Restore previous session. This fix will reload the YouTube page and then the video will be visible, and maybe the next YouTube video too, but if you continue to watch YouTube videos another one will show up as blank again and you will have to perform the quick fix again. However, having the uBlock Origin extension appears to prevent this quick fix. So, I had no choice but to disable uBlock Origin for YouTube, and every now and then when a video is shown blank, perform the quick fix.
Kind regards,
Ignacio Agulló.
Oh I recommend invidio.us instances
They are youtube frontend websites
Unless they are all broken, they are less bloated and way faster.
Hope thiz helps you
EDIT:
I wonder why I have -4 already...
seems like people are abusing the rating system again lol.
Invidious works well, and with no proprietary JavaScript: https://api.invidious.io
Ignacio- Last weekend,I experienced a similar problem with YouTube and UBO. After many hours of frustration, here is my current solution-
Replace UBO with UBO-Lite. UBOL is fully compatible with Abrowser. But UBO itself no longer blocks YT ads since the Abrowser update. I think part of the issue is the Trisquel repository pulls an obsolete version of UBO when you install/reinstall it. But UBO still doesn't work even with the latest version from Github.
Install UBOL here-
https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uBOL-home/blob/main/README.md
Use the Firefox "self distributed" link.
After some fiddling, UBOL blocks all Youtube ads. Other sites still present some annoyances, but turning off javascript in UBOL eliminates most issues. Javascript can easily be re-enabled on a per site basis in the UBOL settings.
Another solution is try Falkon browser. It has some issues with blocking YT ads, but only at first. It works flawlessly after the initial hiccups. Falkon is in your Synaptic package manager.
As far as YT formatting, I think this is an Abrowser issue. My YT formatting has gone nuts, but only with Abrowser.
YT's formatting remains the same as always with Falkon (which has a built-in adblcker) or Google Chrome with UBOL. Formatting is also unchanged with Firefox/UBOL/Linux Mint.
Ignacio, good luck with your problem!
I have tried it, and it works. Thank you very much, IBM1130! Old guys know all of the tricks!
Kind regards,
Ignacio Agulló.
Thanks Ignacio!
